Well I have recently gone through my server logs and found this IP to access this website 1,920 times. This hostname seems to be a Russian search engine, but I think they have their bot setup a bit wrong!! Nearly 2,000 page views in my view is totally un-acceptable in the space of 3 months for any bot. The bot can only access plain text on my site, but it is still a lot of bandwidth data being used in that amount of connections. I have banned the IP for data mining and inconsiderate bandwidth usage of hosting services.

Well I am currently working on all the pages on the site and trying to update them as best I can. I have updated some of the pages including PC Specs etc. Check them out and have a read, still working on other pages and galleries.

Well I thought that it was about time that I changed the website design of the site. I have had this design on my Development server for well over a year now and totally forgot about it, so I thought it was about time that I uploaded it! I am currently thinking about changing this site and maybe creating a new website for music, see next news item for more information.

Well I find this really funny actually that Apple has tried to bring out a new iPhone to be in competition with the Android phones that have been far more superior and better in hardware for over a year now. What I find even funnier is the people who bought the new iPhone yet ignore the facts about the differences between the iPhone and the Android.

Makes for good reading, I think Apple have tried to hard to try to be the best when clearly they are not. The main things I look for now when buying a phone are: 1) Pricing 2) Development Ability 3) Hardware. While the iPhone is quite similar now to Android phones it is still 3x the price.

Well a lot of questions need to be answered by the makers of Rock Band this week. The game is called Rock Band and you’d think they have all the Rock followers in mind when releasing Download packs right? Wrong.. this week Rock Band have added Lady GaGa to the game with download content, not only is this completely out of context to the game but a lot of Rock followers who have Rock Band 1 and 2 are saying that they will not buy another game made by the company involved (Harmonix). I too will never ever buy another game by this company, the whole point of Rock Band was to move away from the idea of adding all music like Guitar Hero is based, and to keep it ROCK BANDS. I really don’t see where they got their facts from for adding in pop music seeings as most people who follow proper music – Rock – Metal whatever music genre, all are against manufactured Pop Music.

So the plan is – if your a games company please create something for us Rockers and STAY with your promise that you are developing the game based on the alternative music scene. If a company could make a Metal Band game then I’d sure buy it if it stayed as Metal music and didn’t go in to commercialisation by adding manufactured Pop Music which has no instrumental input anyway.

Well I have been thinking about this for about a year now, I always check headers of scam emails and 98% of the emails come from China, is this because of bot nets or just because the people running the scams are actually from China? It’s sad to say that today I have blocked the whole country from emailing any of my email accounts. I receive on average 10 World Of Warcraft phishing scam emails every day on 1 of my email accounts. Until something is done with the security and laws on phishing scams I will continue to block whole countries if I have to. I will be logging all the IP’s which these emails come from from now on and will be placing a page on this site listing them all. The other country which seems to be sending out a lot of scam emails is Canada – the land of Jesse Willms & Co – a scam artist that has and continues to scam millions of people every year. I seriously can’t understand why the Canadian police have not put him inside yet with his cohorts. He has been taken to court by Microsoft for selling of pirated software along with loads of other out of court settlements, the public will be taking matters into their own hands pretty soon, mark my word on it.

There should be a lot more laws on internet crime, people are getting away with ripping people off of millions and what do the police do while they do it? Protect ‘them‘.

Well my band is currently in the studio over the next few months to come up with new tracks, we are currently using studio time to just create tracks and write material, but we plan to start recording songs next month. Our website is complete and all promotion is ready for when we release our material… Watch this space!

Well I am currently thinking about sorting out a new campaign against the X-Factor using Rock music and against allowing auditionee’s from singing Rock songs on the show. The recent RATM campaign just shows that not only are people fed-up with the current music industry, they also see past the fact that music is presented from short term sales – personally I think they should change the charts from single sales to ‘Ticket Sales’…

The main thing I personally hate about the whole show is; it is supposed to be a POP show where someone is manufactured and used for short term sales with 80% of their profit taken. The whole point of Rock music is longevity and musicianship. Recently people who watch the X Factor went against what they were beforehand for – in the sense that as soon as a Rock band was up against the show suddenly Rock music and musicians were ‘stupid’ to X Factor fans… but they seem to ignore the fact that 1) Rock Music is the biggest selling Genre in the WORLD 2) Every other auditionee sings a Rock song. If people that watch the X Factor are so against Rock music – WHY do auditionees sing Rock songs?… They sing them because Rock songs never die – why do you think that is?.. Because people like ‘me’ who go out and buy tickets to see these bands, also it brings it back to Rock music having the biggest following anyway.

When the campaign is going I plan to contact as many Rock publishers and producers as possible to make a Legal stance against the X Factor from using Rock music on the show. If they want to go against what created the Music Industry in the first place then they should ONLY allow POP Songs to be auditioned.. Simple as that!

Well last night was the singles league second game of the season, didn’t go too great as I now see what people mean about handicaps!!! The person I had to play had a 60 handicap (from sandbagging the first week), not only that they managed to hit a 155 average but bowling off of a 125 average handicap, which meant to have any chance of winning on handicap I needed to bowl a score 60 more than them in every game!! With a average of 155 they should of been bowling off a 36 handicap… Then because I won on Scratch 7-1 they had the cheek to moan! I don’t mind if a person with a higher handicap than me bowls scratch better then it’s fair enough but to moan when they have a 60 handicap yet bowl 30 above their handicap average is just stupid! I think I’m going to have to play for scratch this season.
